I’m Maggie, an audio reporter turned print journalist.

I joined WyoFile, an independent, non-profit news organization, to report on state government and politics in 2022.

Before making the transition to print, I cut my journalism teeth at Wyoming Public Radio and spent over five years there as an audio reporter and host. During that time, I became a founding reporter for the Mountain West News Bureau, a regional journalism collaboration of public radio stations. My work has appeared on NPR, Marketplace, Science Friday, Here and Now, National Native News and PBS NewsHour. In 2019, I was awarded a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for my story on the Black 14.

I’m based in Sheridan, Wyoming.
